Cambria Air Force Station Helipad (US-2765) is not a public travel facility and therefore, no recent traveler reviews or experiences are available. The site is a decommissioned Cold War-era United States Air Force General Surveillance Radar station that ceased operations in 1980. It is now in private hands and has been the subject of various private development proposals, none of which have come to fruition as public-access facilities.

Public access to the former base facilities ended in 2007 due to health risks associated with asbestos contamination. While there were plans for a glamping resort that included a private helipad, these proposals were rejected by county planners primarily due to fire safety concerns and the lack of an adequate evacuation route.
