Dubois Landing Field serves Dubois, US.
Dubois Landing Field (US-2441) likely refers to the original Dubois Airport, established in 1928 in the Oklahoma area of DuBois, Pennsylvania. The airport was built by the American Legion Post with a runway that was approximately one-half mile long (2,900 ft) and unpaved.
Due to its short runway, only smaller commuter planes could operate there, leading to limited use and eventually being deemed not commercially feasible. The original Dubois Airport presumably closed around June 1, 1960, when the new DuBois Regional Airport (KDUJ) began operations. By 1968, the original site was no longer depicted on aeronautical charts, and aerial photos from that year showed a large building (possibly a school) constructed over the former hangar area, though the runway outlines were still largely visible.
