Francisco Grande Airfield (US-1355) was first depicted on the January 1967 Phoenix Sectional Chart with a 5,200-foot unpaved runway, and its last appearance on such charts was in January 1971. The airfield was an amenity for the Francisco Grande resort, which was developed in 1959 by San Francisco Giants owner Horace Stoneham as a spring training facility for his team and was frequented by celebrities. As of a 2018 aerial view, the site retains the remains of a single unpaved northwest/southeast runway on the west side of the Francisco Grande property.
