Fremont Ridge Private Airstrip (US-12662) is a private grass airstrip located approximately 10 minutes south of Beaver, Utah, in the mountainous region near Fremont Indian State Park.
Developed by a father-and-son team, Carson Stilson and his father, on their 120-acre property, the initial 2,300-foot runway was completed in early 2023. The airstrip is situated on top of a mesa at roughly 7,000 feet in elevation and features a SayWeather system and a windsock.
The facility is intended to be a unique destination for experienced backcountry pilots, with future plans to add amenities such as container cabins, recreational facilities, and an airpark for rentals or overnight stays. It is generally limited to private, non-commercial, recreational use.
