Rice Lake Municipal Airport serves Rice Lake, US.
The original Rice Lake Municipal Airport (US-12507) was located south-southwest of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, with its earliest reference found in the 1934 Department of Commerce Airfield Directory. It featured a 1,320' x 1,275' sod field and later, by 1945, had three sod runways, the longest being 1,500 feet, and seven hangars. The airport was privately owned but operated by the City of Rice Lake.
The original airport was replaced by a new Rice Lake Airport between 1945 and 1946, located northeast of town. A new and larger Rice Lake Regional Airport was built five miles southwest of Rice Lake in 1995, at which point the old Rice Lake Municipal Airport (US-12507) was presumably closed. The site was depicted as abandoned on the 1998 Wisconsin Aeronautical Chart, and 1998 aerial photos showed the runway marked with closed "X" symbols, though the runway and several hangars remained intact. By 2005, the midsection of the airport had been cut and cleared, though some hangars on the west side of the runway still remained. The airport's identifier was changed from "KRIE" to "US-12507" and its type to "closed" on February 25, 2025.
