Nordheim Flying K Airpark serves Bargaintown, US.
Nordheim Flying K Airpark (US-11874), located in Bargaintown, New Jersey, was a general aviation field that operated for several decades. It was originally known as Pleasantville - Somers Point Airport, built by Clarence Egan after World War II, and later purchased by Harry "Knocky" Nordheim in the mid-1960s, who renamed it Nordheim Flying K Airpark. The airport was a hub of activity in the 1970s, hosting 10-15 tied-down airplanes and serving as a base for banner-towing operations.
The airport closed around 1993, with Harry Nordheim having passed away between 1990 and 1992. The official reason for its closure was the deletion of its 1-mile airspace exclusion from the Atlantic City International Airport's Class C airspace, effective February 29, 1996, due to the airport's closure. The site was subsequently sold around 1995 and redeveloped into a housing community, with no traces of the former airpark remaining by 2016.
