Glen Beicker Ranch Airport

The airport was a private airstrip owned and operated by Glen A. Beicker. Its closure directly correlates with the death of Mr. Beicker in December 2017. Following his passing, the aircraft registered to him (a Piper PA-28-180, N8927W) had its registration cancelled in May 2018 due to being sold. As is common with private owner-use airfields, operations ceased after the owner/operator was no longer able to fly.

The site remains a private ranch property. Satellite imagery from 2023-2024 shows the turf runway is still clearly visible and appears to be mowed and maintained as part of the property's landscape. However, there are no aircraft on site, and it is not considered an active or operational airfield. The land continues to be used for residential and agricultural purposes by the current property owners.
