🇷🇺 Zeya Airport

Zeya Airport (EYA/UHBE) is a public regional airport serving the town of Zeya in Amur Oblast, Russia. It is located approximately 12 km southwest of the city of Zeya.

• Coordinates: 53°41′17″N 127°05′28″E.
• Runways:
• One main runway (03/21) was extended to 1930 meters (6332 feet) during a reconstruction completed in 2021. Before reconstruction, it was 1640 x 40 meters (5381 x 131 feet) with a hard surface.
• There is also a shorter runway (15/33) with dimensions of 556 x 21 meters (1824 x 69 feet).
• Usage: The airport is primarily used for general aviation and is operated by the local area government. It serves as a hub for flights to landing sites like Gorny, Bomnak, Khvoyny, and Beregovoy. Regular social flights operate between Blagoveshchensk, Svobodny, Oktyabrsky, and Zeya. The airport also supports forest fire protection, sanitary missions, and charter flights.
• Aircraft Capacity: After reconstruction, Zeya Airport can accommodate aircraft such as An-24, An-28, Yak-40, An-38, L-410, An-2, Cessna-208, King Air-350i, and all types of helicopters without restrictions. It can also accept, with limitations, aircraft like An-26, An-30, An-32, An-72, An-74, Falcon F-900, Cessna-182, Embraer-120, ATR-42, Hawker-850 XP, DNC-8-300, Embraer-EMB-110, and An-140.
• History: The airport was built in 1969 by ZeyaGESstroy for its own needs. Reconstruction efforts began in 2014 and the first phase was completed, including runway extension and infrastructure improvements. Air service with L-410 and An-28 aircraft resumed on March 1, 2021.
