Official airport taxis are available 24/7 directly outside the arrivals hall exit. Fares to the city center are generally fixed. Ride-hailing services like Bolt and Yandex Go are also widely used and can be a more affordable option. It is recommended to use an app or agree on the fare before starting your journey.
Multiple international and local car rental companies, including Hertz, Avis, Sixt, and local providers, have service desks located in the arrivals hall. Booking in advance, especially during peak season, is highly recommended. A valid driver's license, passport, and credit card are required.
The most affordable option is the public bus, Route 337. It operates from approximately 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, connecting the airport to the city center (Freedom Square). The journey takes about 50-60 minutes, and the fare is 1 GEL. Payment can be made with a Metromoney card (available at the airport) or a contactless bank card. A train service to the central railway station is also available but runs very infrequently, making it a less practical option for most travelers.
