🇺🇦 Kanatove Air Base

Kanatove Air Base (UA-0067) is a reserve military airfield of the Ukrainian Air Force, located in Kirovohrad Oblast, Ukraine, approximately 11 kilometers southeast of Kropyvnytskyi. It features a single concrete runway, designated 10/28, measuring 2,500 meters in length and 60 meters in width.

Historically, the base was developed in the post-World War II period as a Soviet Air Force military airfield, serving for pilot training and hosting various fighter and bomber regiments, including the 190th Fighter Aviation Regiment and the 727th Guards Bomber Aviation Regiment. In its current role, Kanatove Air Base is primarily used to host combat aircraft such as Su-27 and Su-24 fighters and has been a repeated target of Russian missile strikes since the 2022 invasion, resulting in damage to aircraft and facilities.
