Tissa Tank Waterdrome is a seaplane landing point, not a traditional airport terminal. There is no formal taxi rank. The most common option is to pre-arrange a pickup with your hotel. Alternatively, local taxis and numerous tuk-tuks (three-wheelers) are readily available on the main roads near the tank and can be hailed for short trips into Tissamaharama town or to nearby hotels.
