Authorized airport taxis are readily available at a designated stand outside the terminal. Taxis in Medellín are metered. For safety, it is recommended to use the official airport service. Ride-sharing apps like Uber, Didi, and Cabify also operate in the area and are a common alternative.

The airport is located close to Medellín's Metro system. The 'Poblado' station on Line A is the nearest, about a 15-20 minute walk or a very short taxi ride away. From there, you can connect to the entire metropolitan area. Additionally, public city buses (SITVA) run on the main avenues adjacent to the airport.
Enjoyed the long walk to the waiting aircraft from the boarding gate passing through a garden. Not seen it on any other airport I have been.
