Bacacheri Airport (SBBI (BFH)) is a general aviation airport located in the Bacacheri neighborhood of Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, approximately 7 kilometers from the city center.

Type of Facility and Operations: The airport is primarily dedicated to executive aviation, aircraft maintenance, and specialized air services, including air taxi, aeromedical transport, and pilot training. It also serves as a base for federal and state public security agencies, such as the Federal Police, Military Police, and Civil Transit Police. Bacacheri Airport handles over 32,000 aircraft operations annually and features more than 45 hangars for aircraft storage and servicing. It does not have scheduled commercial passenger flights, with these operations having shifted to Afonso Pena International Airport since 1997.

Notable Features or History: Bacacheri Airport's history dates back to 1930 as an airfield for Military Aviation. It was officially upgraded to an Air Force Base in 1942 and served as a military base during World War II. On March 31, 1980, it was de-commissioned as a primary military facility and transferred to civilian administration, initially under Infraero. The airport is home to the Aeroclube do Paraná, founded on January 9, 1932, making it one of the oldest aeroclubs in Brazil. The Brazilian Integrated Air Traffic Control and Air Defense Center section 2 (Cindacta II) is situated in the vicinity. The airport features a single asphalt runway, designated 18/36, measuring 1,390 meters in length and 30 meters in width.

Current Status: Bacacheri Airport is currently operated by Motiva, which was rebranded from CCR Aeroportos on April 26, 2025. CCR Aeroportos won a 30-year concession to operate the airport on April 7, 2021, and commenced operations in March 2022. As of November 18, 2025, Motiva's entire airports portfolio was sold to the Mexican airport operator ASUR, with the transaction awaiting government approval as of February 10, 2026.
