Svetlograd Air Base (RU-0374) is a closed military airfield located northwest of Svetlograd, near Blagodatnoye village and Nosachev farm.
From 1969 to 1993, the airfield was used by the Stavropol Higher Military Aviation School for pilots and navigators for training flights on L-39, MiG-15, and Su-15 aircraft. A concrete runway was completed in 1975. Flights ceased in 1993 due to the re-profiling of the school and the suspension of pilot training. The last support units were withdrawn in 1998, after which the airfield was abandoned.
The current status of the site is "closed" or "defunct". However, one source from 2015 lists it as an "active" military airfield for long-range strategic aviation, capable of receiving aircraft like the Tu-16, Tu-22, Tu-95, An-12, Il-76, and Tu-22M3.
