bakit naman kasi lagi nauuna ang yabang niyo. sa national news pa man din binalita. hayzz... pinoy talaga!
dapat kasi gawin muna bago ipagmalaki. ang hirap kasi nauuna lagi ang yabang niyo. sa manila bulletin pa man din ang balita sa national news pa. lintik na yan.
baka march 2020 pa magbukas yong airport,,sa tatlong capital ng samar ang borongan ang napag iiwanan.pag nag open yang airport dyan ang airfare ay paabutin nyo ulit ng 4500 para 1 week lang mag open kagaya dati
ipinag malaki pa naman ni mayor abunda na bubuksan na ang airport nong march..bakit po anong nangyari?baka ang mag lalanding dyan ay mga saranggula lang.
wala naman pumuntang airplane sa bor hanggang ngayon!!!

all local and provincial officers think about it?for the SICK of boronganon people..i love borongan because thats my home town.you know ITS hurt for me everytime that i heard against borongan!.... ano raw? hehehe
i hope as soon as possible that airport should be operate again....hope that cebu pacific use a airbus 320neo the newest fleet of cebu pacific...
may airport pa ba sa borongan parang hinde na yan nag exist ah pauwi sana ako at balak kung sa borongan bumaba kaso walang flight na galing maynila to borongan.anu ba naman yan nasa google map pa naman yan...wala naman pala..
mag antay lang tayo sa ngayon inaayos na ang airport ng Borongan if i'm not mistaken Cebu pacific will be the one to flight borongan to manila vv. at marami na din mga new develelopments dito sa borongan. so far borongan city is consider as progressive capital city in eastern samar and no. 1 tourist destination in eastern visayas. *********for more info about borongan check the facebook ' I love borongan'. tnx

right now borongan is now a city..but no airport at all.i hope this year the borongan air port will be open again..how the province progress if no airport?catarman is not a city,but they had a daily flight....cebu pacific is a low fair among all company airlines in the philippines.

Starting Feb 20, 2012, Guiuan airport will be operational. A flight from Cebu by Mid sea express.
The airport is still closed because it lacks of runway signs.......But the nearest airport in operation is Tacloban(TAC)....Guiuan Airport is also closed but the locals said the airport will be operational soon.
i hope God willing, borongan airport will be operational again. and this will be for a long haul. for all ESTEHANONS, let's hope and pray and do what we can to make this possible. maybe we have to put politics aside first and be united to make borongan airport operational. as one airline company said in their ads," bakit sasakay ka pa sa bus, mag airbus ka na"
I hope PAL and Cebu Pacific consider flying to Borongan.

Is there any plans to re-open for commercial service? Also, is there any general aviation traffic currently using this airport...or is it closed completely?

I had been informed Borongan airport will be operational this coming sept. 01, 2008.
According to the Wikipedia article, the airport is in operation, but it's not served by any airlines, so I imagine that the traffic is all general aviation.
When will it start operation?
