The primary mode of transport is shared airport vans (UV Express). These vans wait for all arriving flights and take passengers directly to their hotels in Coron Town Proper for a fixed, per-person rate. Private vans can also be hired on the spot or pre-booked for a higher flat rate, which is a good option for groups. Tricycles are not typically used for the long journey from the airport to town.
Major international car rental companies do not have counters at the airport. However, car, van, and motorcycle/scooter rentals can be arranged in advance through local tour operators or hotels in Coron. Renting a scooter is a very popular and affordable way to explore Busuanga Island. It is highly recommended to book any vehicle rentals before you arrive.
