Metered airport taxis are readily available outside the arrival terminal. Ride-hailing services like Grab are also a popular option. The trip to Legazpi City proper takes approximately 20-30 minutes. It's advisable to confirm the fare or ensure the meter is used before departure.
Several local and international car rental companies operate at the airport, with counters located in the arrival area. A range of vehicles is available, from compact cars to vans. Booking in advance online is recommended, especially during peak travel seasons. A valid driver's license and credit card are required.
UV Express vans offer a shared, affordable service to key destinations like Legazpi Grand Central Terminal and other nearby towns; they are typically found near the terminal exit. For very short distances to the main highway, tricycles are available. From the highway, you can catch public jeepneys to various local routes.
@david RPLP Legazpi Domestic is now a closed airport, and the IATA code of LGP has been properly transferred to RPLK Bicol International.
Originally scheduled to open July 2020, delayed due to COVID with new estimated completion date of December 2020. There has already been a landing here (an emergency landing of a Philippine Central Bank Gulfstream G200 on 10 Jan 2018).
