Ground Transportation

Taxis

Accredited Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBFZ) taxis are the primary option. These can be pre-booked or arranged upon arrival. Fares for destinations within the Freeport are often based on a set tariff system. Ride-hailing services like Grab are also operational in the Subic area, providing another alternative. Due to the airport's limited flight schedule, arranging transportation in advance is highly recommended.

Rental Cars

Car rental services are available from agencies located within the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, though they may not have physical counters inside the airport terminal itself. Companies like Hertz, Avis, and several local providers operate in the area. It is essential to pre-book your vehicle, and the rental company can typically arrange for airport pickup and drop-off.

Public Transportation

There is no direct public bus or jeepney service to the airport terminal. To access public transportation, travelers must first take a taxi to a nearby transport hub. The main bus terminals are located outside the Freeport main gate in Olongapo City or near the Harbor Point Mall, offering routes to Manila, Clark International Airport, and other destinations across Luzon.

How to get to pangasinan from Subic Bay airport?

Subic Bay International Airport Posted by on August 28, 2009

I hope they will allow international commercial flights in SBIA. After the FEDEX departure just wondering what does SBMA plan to do with the airport. Hoping commercial flights to liven up the area and to attract tourism.

re: SBIA Posted by martynj3 on June 21, 2009

There are no commercial passenger flights into Subic, try Clark International, it is only about one hour drive away now that the new toll road is open. Clark has budget connections (TigerAirways, Cebupacificair) from Singapore for example.

re: SBIA Posted by on June 16, 2009

I have been checking Subic Bay websites for weeks. I can't find a travel agent to arrange the entire trip. The SBIC website doesn't give any information on airlines or flights.

You'll probably have to go to RPLL (Ninoy Aquino International Airport).
