The Constanța County Emergency Clinical Hospital Helipad (RO-0131) is a hospital heliport located at the Constanța County Emergency Clinical Hospital, also known as Spitalul Clinic Județean de Urgență “Sf. Apostol Andrei” Constanța.
In 2011, the heliport was renovated by US Marines from the Black Sea Rotational Force 11, who demolished the old platform and built a new one capable of accommodating large helicopters for patient transport. The project cost 50,000 Euros and allows for use by both military and private helicopters.
In 2016, a SMURD aeromedical base was inaugurated in Constanța, which included a landing platform and a hangar for the SMURD helicopter. This base, located in the Viile Noi area, is administered by the Ministry of Health, with the Constanța County Emergency Clinical Hospital designated as the medical operator. The SMURD helicopter, an EC 135, began operating from Constanța in 2013 to provide emergency air medical transport for the coastal area, Danube Delta, and southeastern Romania.
