Fukui Airport (IATA: FKJ, ICAO: RJNF) serves Fukui, JP.

Fukui Airport (IATA: FKJ, ICAO: RJNF) is a public aerodrome located in Sakai, Fukui Prefecture, Japan, approximately 5 nautical miles north of Fukui Station. It is also known as Harue Airport.

The airport has a single paved runway, 18/36, which is 1,200 meters (3,937 feet) long and 30 meters (98 feet) wide. Its elevation is 18 feet (5 meters) above mean sea level. Fuel types available are JET A-1 and AVGAS 100, with fueling provided by a fuel truck. There are no cargo-handling or de-icing facilities.

Fukui Airport opened in 1966 with scheduled services to Haneda Airport in Tokyo. However, commercial flights were discontinued in 1976 due to competition from nearby Komatsu Airport, which could accommodate jet aircraft. A plan to lengthen the runway in 1985 was eventually shelved in 2001 and cancelled in 2003.

Currently, Fukui Airport is primarily used for general aviation, including university flight training and glider sports. The Fukui Prefectural Police and Fire Department also operate from the airport. Air traffic control services are provided by FUKUI RADIO on 118.6 MHz.
