Taxi stands are located at the Access Plaza on Level 2. Both general metered taxis and fixed-fare taxis to destinations like central Nagoya are available. This is a convenient but more expensive option, ideal for direct-to-door service.
Major car rental companies (including Toyota Rent a Car, Nippon Rent-A-Car, Orix, and Times) have counters in the Access Plaza on Level 2. An International Driving Permit is required for most foreign drivers. Renting a car provides flexibility for exploring the Chubu region at your own pace.
The airport is primarily connected by the Meitetsu Railway, with the μ-SKY Limited Express train reaching Nagoya Station in as little as 28 minutes. Centrair Limousine buses also offer extensive routes to Nagoya city, other cities in the Chubu region, and even Kyoto. Additionally, a unique high-speed ferry connects the airport to Tsu and Matsusaka in Mie Prefecture. All public transit is easily accessible from the Access Plaza.
