Metered taxis are available 24/7. The designated taxi stand is located outside the West Arrival terminal building. Miki Taxi Service is the airport's authorized provider.
Multiple car rental agencies, including Avis, Budget, Hertz, National, and Toyota, have counters inside the West Arrival building, near the baggage claim area. Booking in advance is highly recommended, especially during peak travel seasons.
Direct public bus service (Guam Regional Transit Authority - GRTA) to the airport terminal is very limited and not considered a practical option for most arriving passengers with luggage. A more common alternative is to pre-arrange a shuttle service, which is offered by many hotels on the island.

for student pilot. pilotage and deadreckoning was hard. I failed the first checkride because i miscounted number of geographic location and approached TFR on anderson. It's wonderful island. I would love to be based in the pacific paradise.
I was based here with NWA in the mid 90's. Best airline flying of my career.
Stopped here for fuel once in January 1967, riding in the "way back" end of a DC-8-63. From the very last rows of seats you could see the fuselage flex in turbulence. Seats weren't very comfortable and pretty densely packed, food was ... well, so-so.
Stopped here for again for fuel October 2006, riding in the "way back" end of a 747-400. Can't say that I saw the fuselage flexing, impossible to see very far forward. Seats weren't very comfortable and pretty densely packed, food was ... well, so-so.
Hmmm ... in 39 years things haven't changed much, have they?
