Cod Platform Airport, NO.
The Cod Platform (NO-0115) was an offshore oil and gas facility in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, approximately 75 kilometers northwest of the Ekofisk field. Discovered in 1968, it began production in 1977 and was developed with a combined drilling, production, and accommodation facility.
The platform ceased production and was shut down on August 5, 1998. The topsides of the platform were removed on July 31, 2013, and the facility is now classified as "REMOVED". The production license area was relinquished in 2022.
