I am also searching for information on military activities on Tongareva Island during WW II. My father was there from 1942-1944. Did anyone obtain any information?

Dear Staff,

Do you have any information regarding the role of the Island of Tongareva during World War II? My Father was stationed there in 1942 or 43 to 1944. He helped to build a radar tower as part of his assigned duties. Thanks for any information you can provide.
