The most economical option is the public bus. Route 138 (and the air-conditioned 138-A 'especial') connects the airport to the city of San Salvador. it is a cosy airport with very friendly people that work there. when you arrive from Europe than you feel the themperature and when you come outside you hear the animals and smell the country. I love to go there again as soon as possible.
