Taxis are available 24/7 directly outside the arrivals terminal. The journey to Şanlıurfa city center is approximately 35 km and takes around 40 minutes. Fares are metered.
Several international and local car rental companies, such as Avis, Enterprise, Garenta, and Sixt, have desks located within the arrivals hall. Booking in advance is recommended for better availability and pricing.
HAVAŞ airport shuttles are the main public transport option. The bus service is synchronized with flight schedules and travels to the Şanlıurfa city center, with the main stop at Abide Interchange (Abide Aktarma Merkezi). The trip takes approximately 45 minutes and is the most economical choice.
Such a big and modern airport, but when I was there in Oct 2011 there were only 2 departures all day.
