The heliport features a raised concrete FATO (Final Approach and Take-off area) and TLOF (Touchdown and Lift-off area) with a diameter of 19.5 m and a load-bearing capacity of 3800 kg. Only HEMS flights are permitted, and the lighting system can be controlled locally or remotely via radio. As of late 2024, the heliport was undergoing additional safety installations, with HEMS operations temporarily relocated to a different landing area.
