Hradec Králové Airport (LKHK) is a public domestic and private international civil airport located approximately 3-4 km (1.9-2.5 miles) northeast of the city of Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. It does not have scheduled commercial passenger service. The airport is owned by the city of Hradec Králové and operated by Letecké služby Hradec Králové a.s.
The facility has two runways: one concrete runway (15L/33R) measuring 2400m x 60m (7874 ft x 197 ft) equipped for day and night VFR operations, and one grass runway (15R/33L) measuring 800m x 25m (2625 ft x 82 ft). It also features two concrete heliports.
Hradec Králové Airport is primarily used for general aviation, flight training, private aviation, and air ambulance services. It hosts several flight schools and helicopter maintenance facilities. Historically, the airport was established in 1927 for mixed military and civil operations, served the German Luftwaffe during occupation, and was a military airport until 2003 when it was transferred to the city. The airport also hosts events such as air festivals and has been used for base training of larger aircraft like a Boeing 737-300 in 2010.
