Leros Municipal Airport "Dodekanisos" (IATA: LRS, ICAO: LGLE) serves as the primary air gateway to the Greek island of Leros, playing a vital role in connecting the island to mainland Greece and supporting its tourism-based economy. Public bus service is limited and may not align with flight schedules, making private transport the most reliable option.

Operations at Leros Airport are almost exclusively domestic, with the Athens International Airport (ATH) route being the main and often only scheduled service. This crucial link is operated year-round by national carriers such as Olympic Air (a subsidiary of Aegean Airlines) and Sky Express, using small turboprop aircraft suited for the airport's short runway. During the peak summer season, the airport may handle a small number of charter flights, but it is not equipped for large-scale international traffic.
