The airfield resides at an elevation of 313 feet (95 meters) above mean sea level. It features one paved asphalt runway (07/25) measuring 1,150 by 30 meters (3,773 ft × 98 ft) and a parallel unpaved grass runway (07R/25L) measuring 1,170 by 80 meters (3,839 ft × 262 ft). Reims-Prunay Airfield supports IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) and VFR (Visual Flight Rules) flights at night, with AVGAS 100 LL and JET A-1 fuel available. Historically, it hosted the factory of Reims Aviation, a significant aircraft manufacturer that partnered with Cessna. The aerodrome was inaugurated on May 25, 1969.
