McKinney National Airport (KTKI) is a publicly-owned general aviation airport located in McKinney, Texas, approximately 30-32 miles north of downtown Dallas.

However, the airport is currently undergoing a significant transition to deliver scheduled commercial air service, with a new passenger terminal under construction. Commercial flights are anticipated to begin after the terminal opens in late 2026.
• Location and Runway Information: The airport is situated in McKinney, Texas. It features one concrete runway, identified as 18/36, which is 7,002 feet long and 150 feet wide. This runway is designed to support aircraft up to the size of a Boeing 767, with a weight-bearing capacity of 450,000 pounds (double tandem). The airport is equipped with a control tower and offers instrument approaches including ILS/DME for Runway 18 and RNAV approaches for both 18 and 36.
