Sterling Municipal Airport (KSTK (STK)), also known as Crosson Field, is a public-use general aviation airport located 3.5 nautical miles (6.5 km) west of Sterling, Colorado, in Logan County, United States. It is owned and operated by the City of Sterling and was activated in April 1940.
The airport is situated at an elevation of 4,038 feet (1,231 m) above mean sea level and covers an area of 340 acres (140 ha). It features two runways:
Sterling Municipal Airport primarily supports general aviation, including personal and business flights, flight training, aerial inspections, and business/corporate operations. It is also a base for intensive agricultural operations, particularly from March to September, with crop dusting services available. Additionally, the airport features an aerobatics area and hosts competitions and events.
