The Pinckneyville Du Quoin Airport (KPJY) is a civil, public-use airport jointly owned by the cities of Pinckneyville and Du Quoin, Illinois, United States. It is situated 6 miles southeast of Pinckneyville and approximately 9 miles west of Du Quoin, in Perry County. The airport was activated in February 1978.
The facility features one asphalt runway, designated 18/36, which measures 3,999 feet long and 60 feet wide (1,219 x 18 m). It is a non-towered airfield with medium intensity runway lighting.
Primary use is for general aviation operations, averaging about 22 aircraft operations per day, entirely general aviation, in the 12 months ending April 30, 2021. The airport also accommodates ultralight operations, with a designated grass area on the west side of the runway for take-offs and landings. Services available include a fixed-base operator (FBO), Sparta Aero Services, which provides fuel, aircraft hangars, parking, conference facilities, and pilot lounges. Flight instruction and aircraft rental are also offered. The airport supports RNAV (GPS) approaches for both runways. In 2021, the airport received $100,000 from the Illinois "Rebuild Illinois" program for snow removal equipment.
