🇺🇸 Wittman Regional Airport

Wittman Regional Airport (OSH, KOSH) is a publicly-owned, public-use airport located two nautical miles south of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, in Winnebago County. It is owned and operated by Winnebago County.

Notable Features and History:

• The airport was originally named Winnebago County Airport and was renamed in 1972 after pioneer air racer, aircraft designer, and builder Steve Wittman.
• It is adjacent to Pioneer Airport, part of the EAA Aviation Museum.
• Wittman Regional Airport is the site of the annual Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture Oshkosh, a major experimental aircraft and sport aviation airshow. This event accounts for a large number of the airport's annual operations.
