Coles County Memorial Airport (KMTO) is a publicly-owned general aviation airport located between Mattoon and Charleston, Illinois, approximately four miles east of Mattoon/Charleston. It is owned by the Coles County Airport Authority.

The airport covers 1,225 acres and has three runways:

  • Runway 11/29: 6,501 x 150 feet, asphalt/grooved, with high-intensity edge lighting and a precision instrument marking.
  • Runway 06/24: 5,799 x 100 feet, asphalt/grooved, with medium-intensity edge lighting and a non-precision instrument marking.
  • Runway 18/36: 1,098 x 250 feet, turf.

While there is no scheduled commercial service, charter flights are available through Coles County Aviation. The airport offers services such as fuel (100LL and Jet-A), major airframe and engine repair, and transient storage. It also hosts an annual air show and partners with the Civil Air Patrol for youth aviation programs. The airport was activated in October 1951 and formally dedicated in 1953, recognizing those who served in the Korean Conflict.
