Davison Army Airfield (KDAA/DAA) is a military-use airport located in Fairfax County, Virginia, serving Fort Belvoir, approximately 15 miles southwest of Washington, D.C.. It is owned by the Department of Defense and operated by the U.S. Army, with private use only.
The airfield has one asphalt runway, 14/32, measuring 5,421 by 75 feet. It also has a helipad, H1, which is 50 ft. x 50 ft. and made of concrete. The airport has a control tower that operates from 1100-0230Z++ Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.
Historically, Davison AAF supported Army One for presidential transport from 1957 to 1976. Currently, the 12th Aviation Battalion operates the airfield, using UH-60 Blackhawks and VH-60 models ("Gold Tops") for priority regional transport of U.S. Army and Pentagon senior leadership. The Civil Air Patrol National Capitol Wing also uses the airfield.
Davison Army Airfield is currently operational, though there is an active construction notice.
