It is privately owned by the Jaffrey Municipal Airport Development Corp. and occupies approximately 80 acres.
The airport features a single runway, designated 16/34, which measures 2,982 by 134 feet (909 x 41 m). The runway surface is a combination of asphalt in the central 50 feet, with the remaining 42 feet on each side consisting of turf/gravel. While generally described as being in excellent condition, some areas may have uneven surfaces with pavement patches and cracking.
Jaffrey Airfield Silver Ranch is primarily used for general aviation, air taxi services, flight instruction, aircraft maintenance, and charter services. Ultralight activity is also present. The airport, activated in February 1947, is one of the last family-owned airports in New Hampshire and serves as an alternate during adverse weather conditions at nearby Dillant-Hopkins Airport.
