There are no known plans or public prospects for reopening the Aerodrome d'Esperce. For the airfield to become active again, a new owner would need to be an aviation enthusiast and would have to seek re-approval and certification from the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC). Given that it has been closed for several years and is part of a private residential property, the likelihood of it reopening as an airfield is very low.
