Several major car rental companies serve the airport, including Hertz, Avis, and Sixt. There are no permanently staffed rental desks in the terminal. Vehicles must be booked in advance and will be made available for you upon arrival.
There is no dedicated airport bus (flybuss). The regional public transport is operated by AtB. Local bus routes serve the area, but the main transport hub is in the town of Brekstad, about 3 km from the airport. From Brekstad, you can find further bus connections as well as a high-speed passenger ferry to Trondheim and Kristiansund. A taxi is typically required to get from the airport to the Brekstad bus/ferry terminal.

Joint Civ/Mil airport. Civilian part is the small apron on west side of runway.
