There is no dedicated taxi rank at Tingwall Airport. It is essential to pre-book a taxi in advance of your arrival. Several Lerwick-based taxi firms, such as Sinclair's Taxis and Allied Taxis, serve the airport by appointment.

There is no direct bus service to the airport terminal. The nearest bus stop is located on the main A970 road, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the terminal. From this stop, ZetTrans bus services connect to Lerwick and other destinations on the Shetland mainland.
