Homberg (Ohm) Airfield (DE-0153), officially known as Segelfluggelände Homberg/Ohm II, is a gliding airfield located in Homberg (Ohm) in the Vogelsbergkreis, Hesse, Germany. It is situated approximately 2.5 km northeast of the town center.
The airfield features a single grass runway (04/22), measuring 800 meters (2,625 feet) in length and 30 meters (98 feet) in width, with an elevation of 350 meters (1,148 feet) above mean sea level.
It is authorized for gliders, motor gliders, and ultralight aircraft, with permitted launch methods including aero-tow and winch launch. The airfield is operated by the Luftsportverein Homberg (Ohm) e.V. (Homberg (Ohm) Air Sports Club), which also provides training for glider and motor glider pilots. Flight operations typically take place on weekends, public holidays, and by arrangement, subject to weather conditions. Notably, a member of the operating club, Felipe Levin, won a world championship title in the Open Class at the 37th FAI World Gliding Championships in 2022.
