Local companies provide service from the airport to the ferry terminal and other destinations.
Car rental services are available directly at the airport terminal through providers like Budget. Due to a very limited number of vehicles on the islands, it is essential to reserve a rental car well in advance of your trip, particularly during the peak tourist season.
There is no direct public transit bus service at Sandspit Airport. To connect with the BC Transit bus system, which operates on the larger Graham Island, travelers must first take a taxi or shuttle to the Alliford Bay ferry terminal and then take the ferry across to Skidegate Landing.
Beautiful part of the world if you are willing to make the long overwater flight in a light single. No 100LL available so fill up before you make the trip. Nice little motel with a great pub adjacent to the terminal building. Rental cars also in the terminal if you want to explore the Islands.
