Quebec Police Heliport

The site is an active, private heliport used exclusively by the Sûreté du Québec (Quebec Provincial Police). It is located on the grounds of their district headquarters at 2900 Bd de l'Université, Sherbrooke. The facility is maintained and ready for police helicopter operations as needed. Public access is restricted.

The heliport is located at the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) district headquarters for the Estrie region. Its consistent role has been to support provincial police operations. When active, it handles helicopter flights for missions including aerial surveillance, search and rescue, emergency response, tactical unit deployment, and transportation for law enforcement purposes in the Sherbrooke area and surrounding region. It serves as a key logistical point for the SQ's air service unit when operating away from their main base.
