Howard Airport

Economic and land use reasons. The airport was a private aerodrome owned and operated by Howard Farms (Ridgetown) Ltd., a large agricultural business. The land was reclaimed for its primary purpose: agriculture. There is no evidence of closure due to an accident or military conversion.

The site has been fully converted back to agricultural land and is actively farmed. Satellite imagery of the coordinates (42.444, -81.92843) shows cultivated fields where the runway once existed. While a faint outline of the former runway may be visible from the air due to soil compaction, no airport infrastructure such as hangars, lighting, or markings remains.
