Hastings Field is no longer an active airstrip ... for fixed wing craft. There's a pretty shiny looking heliport there now though!

Hastings Field named after gentlemen who built it. He has since passed away and his son John Hastings looks after it now though it and the 45 acres it sits on are for sale.

I'm trying to find the name of the person who recently cut the airstrip in Jul 2013. I own a nearby one-acre field in Port Washington which desperately needs cutting and can't find anyone to do it.
Thanks,
Jan

Only one way in and the opposite way out. Long grass strip running uphill - lots of distance although I don't know the length. The owner keeps it cut (friendly too). There is a for sale sign so it could be your next life.
