Air Greenland is the principal airline, operating flights to Kulusuk and Nuuk, as well as providing the essential helicopter shuttle to Ittoqqortoormiit. The airport also facilitates flights to Iceland, primarily to Akureyri or Reykjavík, often operated by Norlandair on behalf of Air Greenland. The flight schedules are limited and highly dependent on weather conditions.
