Ural Airlines (ICAO: SVR) is a prominent Russian airline with a significant presence in domestic and international air travel.
Ural Airlines originated from the Sverdlovsk United Aviation Division, which was established in 1943. After the dissolution of Aeroflot, the airline became a joint-stock company on December 28, 1993, and has operated under the "Ural Airlines" brand since then. It has grown to become one of the largest Russian airlines, known for its operational excellence and service quality.
The airline's main operational bases and hubs are Moscow-Domodedovo and Yekaterinburg-Koltsovo International Airport. It also maintains secondary hubs in Moscow-Zhukovsky and Saint Petersburg. Ural Airlines operates a modern fleet consisting entirely of 51 Airbus A320 family aircraft, including A319, A320, A321, A320neo, and A321neo models.
Ural Airlines serves a comprehensive route network, encompassing over 100 destinations across Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Europe, and Asia. As of November 2025, it flies to 29 domestic and 17 international destinations in 9 countries. The airline is not a member of any major global airline alliances but maintains codeshare agreements with several carriers, including Austrian Airlines (Star Alliance), Finnair (Oneworld), Belavia Airlines, and Rusline. It offers various services, including Economy Class and Business Class, with the latter available on its A319, A320, and A320neo aircraft. Passengers can also benefit from its "Wings" loyalty program and receive different inflight meal and beverage options based on flight duration and destination.
