Hebei Airlines

Hebei Airlines (ICAO: HBH) is a Chinese airline that operates primarily domestic and some regional international routes. It is recognized for its operational base in Shijiazhuang and its connection as a subsidiary of XiamenAir.

Hebei Airlines was relaunched on June 29, 2010, following a restructuring of its predecessor, Northeast Airlines. Originally established by the Chinese aircraft manufacturer Shenyang Aircraft Corporation and Sichuan Airlines, it is now a subsidiary of XiamenAir. The airline's corporate headquarters are located in the Shijiazhuang World Trade Plaza Hotel in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, China.

The airline's main operational base and primary hub is Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport (SJW). It also utilizes Beijing Daxing International Airport as a focus city. Hebei Airlines operates a fleet that includes Boeing 737-700, Boeing 737-800, and Embraer ERJ-190 aircraft, with orders also placed for the domestically produced COMAC C919. As of December 2023, the combined fleet size, including its parent XiamenAir and Jiangxi Airlines, reached 156 aircraft.

Hebei Airlines' route network predominantly covers domestic destinations within China, serving 27 destinations as of March 2017. The airline also extends its reach to a few regional international routes, having launched its debut international flight to Bangkok–Suvarnabhumi in March 2017, followed by services to Singapore in October 2017. Popular international routes include Hong Kong to Shijiazhuang, Osaka to Shijiazhuang, and Bangkok to Shijiazhuang. Hebei Airlines is a subsidiary of XiamenAir, which is a member of the SkyTeam alliance. Most of the airline's aircraft feature an all-Economy class layout, although some do offer Business Class. Notable services include complimentary onboard meals, albeit described as budget-style, and a frequent-flyer program known as "Hebei Eagle Club". The airline has also introduced an "Enjoy Economy Class" offering increased seat pitch, more private space, 30KG domestic free baggage allowance, and priority check-in.
