Clic Air

EasyFly Airlines, now officially operating as Clic Air (ICAO: EFY), is a regional Colombian airline that has been connecting intermediate cities across the country since its founding. The airline underwent a rebranding from EasyFly to Clic Air in August 2023, following a legal dispute with the British EasyGroup over the "Easy" prefix.

Clic Air was founded as EasyFly in 2006 by Alfonso Ávila, who was also a co-founder of Aero República in 1992. Operations commenced on October 10, 2007, with initial routes from Bogotá to Barrancabermeja and Arauca. The airline's primary operational base is El Dorado International Airport (BOG) in Bogotá. Other significant hubs and operating bases include Medellín Enrique Olaya Herrera (EOH), Bucaramanga Palonegro International (BGA), Cali (CLO), and Montería (MTR), focusing on regional connectivity.

The airline's fleet primarily consists of ATR 42 and ATR 72 turboprop aircraft, which are well-suited for short-haul regional flights. The transition to an all-ATR fleet occurred around 2019, replacing its former British Aerospace Jetstream 41 aircraft. Clic Air operates an extensive domestic network within Colombia, serving approximately 29 domestic destinations. Its core mission is to serve intermediate cities and regions that are often underserved by larger carriers, thereby enhancing regional connectivity. While there were past intentions to expand internationally to destinations like Aruba and Maracaibo, the current operational focus remains domestic. Clic Air is not a member of any major global airline alliances such as Star Alliance, SkyTeam, or Oneworld.

In terms of services, Clic Air primarily offers Economy Class seating. For passengers seeking more comfort, there are "Más Espacio" options for extra legroom and "Premium" class available on select routes. The airline provides a loyalty program, allowing frequent travelers to earn and redeem points for discounts and perks. Passengers typically receive a free carry-on bag (up to 5kg/11lbs) and a personal item, while checked baggage is often not included in base fares and must be purchased separately. A notable perk mentioned by travelers is the complimentary inflight drink offered on short flights.
