Cinnamon Air (ICAO: CIN) is a Sri Lankan domestic airline that commenced scheduled operations in July 2013, though it was founded in 2012. It operates from a dedicated terminal at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) in Colombo, which serves as its main hub and operational base. The airline is owned and operated by Saffron Aviation (Pvt) Limited, a joint venture between John Keells Holdings PLC, MMBL Leisure Holdings, and Phoenix Ventures Limited. Its slogan is "Wings of Sri Lanka".
Cinnamon Air operates a fleet of three Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft. This includes two Cessna 208 amphibious aircraft and one wheeled Cessna 208B Grand Caravan. Each aircraft has a seating capacity of eight passengers. The airline offers both scheduled flights and private charter services, connecting travelers to various destinations across Sri Lanka. Its route network focuses entirely on domestic travel within Sri Lanka, serving destinations such as Ampara, Anuradhapura, Batticaloa, Hatton, Trincomalee, Nuwara Eliya, Jaffna, Kandy, Koggala, Dickwella, and Sigiriya, among others.
Cinnamon Air does not belong to any major airline alliance like Star Alliance, SkyTeam, or Oneworld. However, all of its scheduled flights operate in a codeshare agreement with SriLankan Airlines, making them available for sale through the national carrier's network and global distribution systems under a "UL" designated flight number. Beyond scheduled and charter flights, the airline also offers flightseeing scenic flights.
